Tattoo Removal has come a long way over the last several years as far as options and technology available. While the traditional methods of laser are still available we are pleased to offer an alternative method to laser in the Tatt2away® Tattoo Removal System. T2A works using a similar technique to getting a tattoo, except instead of ink being injected to the skin, a non-toxic solution is used. It feels very similar to getting a tattoo, but the result is the removal of the unwanted ink.

The patented solution used with the T2A system is applied to the skin in a pattern designed to reduce scarring, it is also the reason fewer treatments necessary to remove a tattoo. The body’s natural healing response forms a scab within a few days of the treatment, and upon falling off in approx 2-3 weeks it removes the ink from the body with it.

Tatt2Away® treatments are designed to remove the tattoo in a series of visits for maximum results. The number of treatments depends on the size, complexity, and location of the tattoo. An average sized tattoo (4 inches by 4 inches), typically needs 4-5 sessions for removal. Treatment sessions last between 30 minutes to 1 hour and can be done about 6-8 weeks apart depending on how quickly the skin heals.

You’ll see final results approximately 8-9 months after your last session, during this time aftercare is still crucial to achieving your desired results and exposure to sun can damage the healing skin and leave you with dark or scarred tissue in the area. Sun block is absolutely necessary and we advise you to be diligent about it for 2 years post treatment.
